• Question: Do you ever make a mistake in an experiment?

      Everyone makes mistakes. Sometimes they’re silly mistakes and you learn from them… and other times the mistakes can reveal something that you didn’t know you were looking for! For example, I once added acid to my protein instead of an alkali… and then found out that my protein loved acid and became a cool structure under acid conditions… I wouldn’t have known that without making the ‘mistake’!
